Sohlang (verified owner) –
I recently purchased this MSI GTX 750 Ti from ShriRaj Technology as a cost-effective upgrade for my older PC (running an i3-530 CPU and an aging 300W PSU). I was looking for a graphics card that would provide a major performance boost without requiring a complete system overhaul.
Here’s my experience and why I recommend this card and seller:
1. Legitimacy and Quality Check (A Big Plus)
One of the biggest concerns when buying older GPUs is getting a fake. I ran a detailed hardware check (using GPU-Z), and I can confirm that the card shipped by ShriRaj Technology is a genuine GTX 750 Ti (GM107 Maxwell core) with the correct 640 CUDA cores. It is the real deal and appears to be in great condition. The seller are also very kind and understanding they even provided a video of the GPU running along with the various test to confirm that it was Legit !
2. Performance and Power (The Main Selling Point)
This card is the ultimate low-power workhorse.
* No PSU Upgrade Needed: My system uses an old, generic 300W power supply (PSU) and this card runs perfectly because its maximum power draw is only 60W, drawing all power directly from the motherboard. This makes it ideal for older HP/Dell pre-built desktops.
* Performance: It provides a significant frame rate boost for older games and modern titles at moderate settings, breathing new life into a 12-year-old system. It’s a true plug-and-play performance upgrade.
3. Installation Note for Buyers
The physical installation was smooth, but I did run into a common software conflict: the NVIDIA installer got stuck because an older/different NVIDIA background process was running. This is not the fault of the card or the seller, but a known Windows issue. My advice for buyers is to manually check the Task Manager and end any NVIDIA Package Launcher or NVIDIA Container processes before running the installer. Once I did a “Clean Installation,” the card was up and running perfectly.
Conclusion
If you have an older desktop with a weak PSU and are looking for a reliable, verified, and power-efficient entry point into PC gaming or general performance, this MSI GTX 750 Ti from ShriRaj Technology is an excellent purchase. It delivers on its promise of low power consumption and reliable performance.
It did take a while for it to reach the Destination (buyer location), considering the distance the product needs to travel , but that’s understandable, at the very least the box and the Card wasn’t damaged at all ! ! !
